• Why it works...
  • Low carb, low GI and more...

    High Protein

This ensures that more weight is lost as fat than muscle – and it keeps you satisfied for longer.

    Not very low fat

Very low fat diets are not the best way to lose weight quickly, as they can actually increase the risk of developing gallstones. A certain amount of healthy fats are needed for essential functions of the body. All About Weight plans are low in saturated fat, but they contain healthy unsaturated fats including essential omega-3 and -6. Research has shown low carbohydrate diets to be more effective at reducing weight and improving markers of heart health, and are easier to stick to than low fat diets.

    Low carb, not no carb

Low carbohydrate diets are safe and effective for weight loss. However, strict no carbohydrate diets can be deficient in important nutrients and have side effects. All About Weight plans include enough low GI carbs to give a more balanced diet and allow a wider range of foods, while still being sufficiently low carb to give you the metabolic advantage that makes it easier to lose weight.

    Low GI

This promotes a slower rise and fall in blood sugar and, hence, helps to control appetite and provide sustained energy.

    Filling

Mealpaks and Chef meals contain soluble and insoluble fibre, which fills you up and promotes good bowel health. On All About Weight plans you eat four meals plus snacks to keep you fully fuelled all day long.

    Simple

Easy to follow plans with several to choose from, so you can pick the one that best suits your needs and lifestyle. Quick to prepare Mealpaks and chef meals make weight loss simple, as there’s no counting calories, points or GI because it’s already been done by All About Weight experts. All information is provided, so you can just follow your plan and lose weight.

    Physical activity

We encourage our clients to get active on all plans, as the most effective weight loss programmes adjust diet and exercise at the same time. People who become more active when they are dieting are more successful in keeping the weight off. This is acknowledged by NICE.
