    Breakfast is an important start to the day and helps weight management by waking up your metabolism and choosing the right breakfast will prevent unhealthy snacking later in the morning.

    We have been working hard making our new Skinny Granola.   We are pleased with our new product for the following reasons and we want to shout about it!

    We have done the comparisons with normal Granola and other diet company offerings and we certainly come out looking good.

    Skinny Granola is a snack product- nice to enjoy any time of day. As part of an All About Weight plan it can be served with milk from your daily allowance, or  tasty snack to carry in your bag and eat when on-the-go.

    Oats- a great source of low GI carbohydrates to provide slow release energy and control blood sugar.

    Oats and linseeds are both a good source of soluble fibre, which helps to lower cholesterol.

    Linseeds are the best plant source of beneficial omega 3 fats, and walnuts are the next best.
    All nuts and contain healthy monounsaturated fats, and contain omega 3 and 6, as does rapeseed oil.

    Hazelnuts and almonds are excellent sources of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant great for the heart, eyes and the skin.
    Research shows that eating nuts is beneficial for weight management, diabetes and heart disease.

    Hazelnuts are also an excellent source of folate, calcium & potassium.

    Pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of magnesium, manganese and phosphorus, and a good source of zinc, iron & copper, with a balance of omega 3 and 6 fats linked to restoring hormone balance, especially in men.

    Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of vitamin E and B1, and also a good source of calcium and iron.

    Wheat bran provides additional insoluble fibre with very little carbohydrate, this helps you to feel full, and maintain healthy bowel function.

    Skinny granola is sugar free- it’s sweetened only with malt extract (a great source of B vitamins) and agave syrup, a natural low GI sweetener.
