1 : All About W8 Programmes and Ketosis
After many studies and over 30 years of research, this is a very fast and effective way to lose weight quickly.

Simply – the longer you stay in fat burning mode, the more weight you lose. Even when you add a meal, either daily or every 4 weeks, on our restricted food listings you still stay in a very mild fat burning mode, which ensures you continue to lose weight.

Will I stay in ketosis when I Add a Meal?

The foods on the list all contain very little carbohydrates, so you should, however we are all different. Sometimes you can come out of ketosis very easily, however don't panic, you have substantially reduced your carbohydrate intake, and also your calories, so you will still lose weight. Don't get hung up on "in or out" of ketosis, this programme works, just stick to the food lists and you will see.

Long term ketosis is assocaited with some side effects, but by adding foods, it keeps the ketosis in a very mild state, which is better for long term weight loss, thus avoiding side effects such as hair loss.

If I am not in ketosis will I still lose weight?

Yes of course you will, your calories have been substantially reduced along with your carbohydrate intake, whether your in ketosis or not, you will natually lose weight.

W8 do not believe that forcing your body into ketosis and putting your body into starvation and forcing it to stay there is a healthy way, but to enter into a very mild stage of ketosis and add healthy
foods, low in carbohydrates and high in protein is by far the most preferred option.

Atkins - Principles of this diet is to put your body into a mild state of ketosis, but you can eat many high fat foods, which in turn
is not a healthy option. However atkins has tremendous success based upon the principles of ketosis.

Lighterlife - Forces your body into ketosis and abstinance follows for 12 weeks and longer, no conventional foods allowed, your body enters into a kind of starvation mode, temporary side effects can occur such as hair loss.
